Let the Shenanigans Begin!

Release your inner leprechaun! Little Prague Bohemian Restaurant, 330 G St., Davis, invites you to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Monday, March 17th, with an evening of traditional music and fare. The restaurant will be offering traditional dishes with a Czech twist, as well as their full menu, accompanied by music from local Celtic group Riggity Jig (Lee Riggs, penny whistle; Josh Ray, guitar; Jim Coats, mandolin; David Riggs, fiddle; and Kyle Wallin, djembe) and renowned bagpiper Erik Leiken of Davis. From 6-9 pm they’ll play in the dining room (or patio, weather permitting). Call 756-1107 for details and reservations.

Pretty Darn Close to Halfway to St. Patrick's Day

If my math is correct, we are getting close to halfway to St. Patrick's Day, which means it is time to bless the patio of Little Prague (weather permitting) with our annual fall frolics. Join the band for some frothy mugs of Guinness and fun tunes on Saturday, September 10th, from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Patrick's Day, Actual and Observed

'Tis the season for all things green, and this year you'll have TWO opportunities to join us for music and fun at Little Prague Bohemian Restaurant in Davis. We'll be playing jigs, reels, and other Irish favorites from 6 to 9 on Saturday, March 13, and again on Wednesday, March 17.
As ever, it's a good idea to call ahead for reservations: 530-756-1107.
We're hoping for a good turnout both nights, and asking that everyone please bring a hankie, since all the weeping when we sing "Danny Boy" can cause puddles that pose a real safety hazard to waiters, patrons, and artistes alike. Come on, let it out--It's good for you!

It's March and we're Irish again!

Riggity Jig enthusiasts have a busy week coming up, as has your favorite Celtic band (meaning "us"). March 14 (Saturday) will be a pre-St.-Pat's bash at Little Prague in Davis, and we'll be back again for a Little Prague dinner gig on Tuesday, March 17. Six to nine pm both nights. And to make sure we don't suffer from low-corned-beef syndrome or cabbage insufficiency, we'll also play for the Dixon chapter of the Knights of Columbus at 6 pm Sunday, March 15. By the end of that day, I'm sure we'll all feel that we've et tu much.
Be there or wish you were!
